Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sean Callaghan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marius Zaromskis!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaromskis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Callaghan as he jumps to the side.
Zaromskis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Callaghan looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Callaghan lands a leg kick that knocks Zaromskis off balance momentarily.

Zaromskis clinches with his opponent.
Callaghan wants a takedown but no success here.
Zaromskis gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Callaghan.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Zaromskis is pressed up against the cage. Callaghan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zaromskis down to the mat. Zaromskis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Callaghan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zaromskis throws a right and a left that both miss.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Zaromskis.
Zaromskis shoots in and drives through. Callaghan sprawls well.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Zaromskis moves into range and clinches up with Callaghan.
Zaromskis is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Callaghan is defending well.
Callaghan is working for takedown but Zaromskis is calmly controlling the position for now.
The referee calls for Zaromskis to work.
Callaghan is looking to take this one to the mat.
Zaromskis is pressed up against the cage. Callaghan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zaromskis down to the mat. Zaromskis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Zaromskis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Callaghan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zaromskis somewhat.
Zaromskis moves in looking to clinch but Callaghan pushes him off.
Zaromskis shoots in but Callaghan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Callaghan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Zaromskis. That did some damage!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Callaghan thows a body kick. Zaromskis tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Zaromskis throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Callaghan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Callaghan wants it to stay on the feet.
Callaghan throws a solid leg kick but Zaromskis takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Callaghan.
Marius Zaromskis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Callaghan scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Callaghan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That kick from Zaromskis tenderised Callaghan's leg. Callaghan is trying to keep his angry face on.
Callaghan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Callaghan tries to clinch but Zaromskis moves out of range.

Callaghan gets tackled into the cage by Zaromskis. Zaromskis maintains the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Callaghan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Zaromskis is defending well for now.

Zaromskis jumps guard and drags Callaghan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Callaghan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Zaromskis's head.
Zaromskis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Callaghan is controlling him.
Zaromskis looks winded!
Callaghan forces his way into half guard.
Zaromskis wants to get back to his feet.
Callaghan landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Callaghan trying to control from half guard but Zaromskis is working away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Callaghan not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Callaghan works his way into full mount!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zaromskis can't escape the position.
Callaghan working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Callaghan in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zaromskis can do anything to dispel that myth.
Callaghan landing punches.


Zaromskis is rocked!


It looks like Marius Zaromskis has been cut.
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Callaghan! Zaromskis is out cold! This one is all over!
