4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Weidman! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weidman gets tackled into the cage by Stenner. Stenner maintains the clinch. Weidman tries to break free but Stenner pushes him back against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Stenner takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Weidman is looking to break free of the clinch but Stenner has double underhooks. A short uppercut from Stenner. Stenner is looking to break free of the clinch but Weidman has double underhooks. Weidman should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Stenner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Weidman has eaten all the pies! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Weidman is looking to clinch. Weidman plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Stenner clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stenner wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Weidman has him pressed against the cage. Come on Stenner - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Stenner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Weidman tries to bum rush Stenner with a series of wild strikes but Stenner uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A combination from Weidman does no damage. Stenner drops Weidman with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Weidman looks back up at him and smiles so Stenner waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Weidman looks winded! Weidman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Stenner wobbles Weidman with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Stenner dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Weidman to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). DJ Stenner! A relieved looking DJ Stenner thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
