The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hicks misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yue tries to clinch but Hicks moves away

and Hicks counters with a shoot takedown. Yue fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Yue wants to get back to his feet but Hicks is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hicks drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hicks jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hicks keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Yue's head.
Hicks loads up on a big left hand. Yue felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Hicks looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Yue can't hide his disappointment, as Hicks celebrates the victory.
