Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Francisco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Duarte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Douglas Duarte acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Francisco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Douglas Duarte! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duarte throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Francisco shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Duarte as he jumps to the side. Francisco bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Francisco really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Duarte misses the shot to the body. Duarte swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Duarte swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Francisco shoots in and drives through. Duarte sprawls well. Duarte lands a nice shot to the body.
Duarte swings for the body but Francisco moves out of range.
Duarte stuffs the takedown attempt from Francisco. Francisco gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Francisco. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Francisco misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Duarte rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Francisco moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Francisco is defended easily by Duarte. Duarte stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Duarte wants it to stay on the feet. Francisco gets in close and instigates a clinch. Francisco pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duarte throws a looping overhand right but Francisco ducks down to avoid it. Francisco fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Francisco avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Duarte throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Francisco stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Francisco shoots in but no luck this time. Francisco shoots in but no luck this time. Duarte sizes up Francisco with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Duarte wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Francisco throws a body punch but Duarte moves out of range. Francisco lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Duarte circles away quickly and effectively.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duarte throws a hook to the side of Francisco's head but Francisco sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Francisco with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Duarte to score with a decent uppercut. Francisco tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Duarte swivels and escapes. Duarte looks to throw the jab but Francisco is out of range. Douglas Duarte is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Francisco throws a jab but it's blocked by Duarte. Francisco takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Duarte loads up on a big right hand but Francisco slips the punch. Francisco uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Duarte.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Duarte misses the shot to the body. Duarte throws a lazy right hand but Francisco sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Duarte stuffs the takedown attempt from Francisco. Francisco gets slowly back to his feet. Francisco ducks right into an uppercut from Duarte. Duarte slaps away a takedown attempt from Francisco, before circling back to the center of the mat. Duarte ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Francisco moves away. Duarte lands with a good body shot. Francisco shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Duarte as he jumps to the side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Douglas Duarte dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Francisco has his takedown stuffed and Duarte counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Duarte wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Francisco on the wrong end of a nice jab. Duarte stuns Francisco with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Duarte misses with a looping left. Daniel Francisco is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Francisco clinches up with Duarte and pushes him back against the cage. Francisco escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Duarte is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Francisco lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Duarte is trying to break the clinch but Francisco is controlling him. Duarte has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Francisco has Duarte pushed against the cage. Duarte is looking to break free of the clinch but Francisco has double underhooks.

Francisco breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Duarte lands a slapping body shot.
Francisco shoots for a takedown but Duarte saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Duarte throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Francisco needs to keep his hands up - Duarte had a free shot at his head there. Duarte scores with a nice strike. Duarte throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Francisco counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Duarte's guard now. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Francisco wants to control from the top but Duarte keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. This has been an exciting period of action! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Francisco dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Duarte throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Francisco takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Duarte is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Francisco rather than just go for the knockout.

Nice defenses there by Francisco. Nice sprawl there from Duarte as Francisco shoots in. Duarte scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Duarte digs a good hook to Francisco's body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Francisco closes the distance and clinches. A frustrated look appears on Duarte's face as he tries to break the clinch. Francisco working aggressively here.

Duarte stopping the sweep attempt from Francisco. Duarte really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Francisco. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Francisco looking for a guillotine here but Duarte defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Francisco lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Duarte! Francisco working away from the top, dropping strikes. Francisco wants to control the pace but Duarte is squirming around nicely. Francisco is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Duarte is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Francisco cracks Duarte with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Francisco wants to finish this one by submission but Duarte is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Francisco. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Francisco can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Duarte is looking to escape. Francisco has isolated one of Duarte's arms. Duarte looking to fight him off but Francisco twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
