Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Laid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akira Sendoh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akira Sendoh told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sendoh has closed the distance and engaged Laid in a clinch.
Sendoh lands a right hand.
Laid has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sendoh uses from the top position.
Laid is looking for a triangle but Sendoh pushes his legs off easily.
Sendoh tries to stand but Laid is controlling from the bottom.

Sendoh would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Laid is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sendoh has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Laid celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
