Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andre Van der Laan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Tomcik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van der Laan comes to the cage accompanied by Eazy-E ft. Tupac, The Game - How We Do. Tomcik is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: We Were Fighters. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomcik sizes up Van der Laan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Van der Laan clinches up with Tomcik and pushes him back against the cage.
Tomcik is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Van der Laan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Van der Laan throws an elbow that misses.
Tomcik stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Van der Laan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tomcik is defending well for now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Good leg kick by Van der Laan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Kamil Tomcik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Tomcik tries to score a power double leg takedown but Van der Laan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tomcik somewhat.
