Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dismas Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quickski Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dismas Tanner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quickski Mcgee!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgee stuffs the takedown attempt from Tanner. Tanner gets slowly back to his feet.

Tanner moves into the clinch successfully.
Mcgee slows down the pace here.
Knees in the clinch landing for Mcgee.
Mcgee has Tanner pushed against the cage.
Mcgee lands an uppercut.
Mcgee goes for a takedown attempt but Tanner pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Tanner misses the shot to the body.

Mcgee drives through and clinches with Tanner against the cage.
Mcgee unloads a knee to the mid-section. Tanner lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Mcgee looking to throw knees to the head but Tanner is blocking nicely.
Tanner jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mcgee walks away with a smile on his face. Tanner gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Tanner.

Mcgee throws a head kick but Tanner moves out of range.

Mcgee moves into the clinch successfully.
Mcgee is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Mcgee with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Mcgee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Tanner instigates a clinch.
Mcgee lands a right hand.

Mcgee pulls guard.
Tanner wants to stand and escape but instead Mcgee has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Tanner wants to stand and escape but Mcgee is having none of it.
Tanner has his hands on Mcgee's head, controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tanner is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mcgee defends well.

Mcgee throws a big elbow that misses.
Tanner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tanner shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mcgee pinned against the cage. Mcgee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Tanner rushes Mcgee and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Mcgee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Mcgee lands a good knee to the midsection. Tanner won't want to take too many of those.
Tanner is trying to break the clinch but Mcgee has him pressed against the cage.

Tanner shoots in for a takedown but Mcgee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tanner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mcgee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tanner somewhat.

Mcgee rushes Tanner and presses him up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tanner jumps guard.
Tanner is trying to control the position but Mcgee postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Quickski Mcgee will probably get the nod.

Mcgee has Tanner up against the cage in a clinch.
Mcgee landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Tanner tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Tanner drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mcgee pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mcgee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tanner.

Mcgee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tanner, pushing him back against the cage.

Mcgee jumps guard but Tanner stands there with Mcgee around his waist. Mcgee gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mcgee connects with a nasty looking knee right to Tanner's face.
Tanner is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Tanner takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The strikes coming from Tanner are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Mcgee is not content to let Tanner control the position.

Quickski Mcgee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Mcgee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tanner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

I would just about give that final round to Quickski Mcgee.
I've got Mcgee winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
