Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Tompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tompson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. On his way into the cage it seems that Tommy Tompson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tommy Tompson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tompson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Tompson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Nixon is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tompson's half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Nixon uses his free foot to push down on Tompson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tompson.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nixon throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Tompson has his hands clasped together but Nixon breaks the hold and Tompson is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Nixon!
