The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deftone looks to land a combination but Amavimus avoids it well.
Deftone punishes Amavimus's body with a nice straight punch.
Amavimus misses with a double jab.
Deftone misses with a kick to the body.
Deftone swinging wildly here.
Deftone shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Amavimus defends it nicely.
Amavimus looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Amavimus forces Deftone back against the cage and clinches.

It looks like Deadguy Deftone has been cut.
Deftone misses with a punch on the inside.
Deftone tries a body shot but Amavimus blocks it.
Deftone misses with an elbow strike.
Deftone tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Deftone tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Amavimus lands a shoulder strike.
Amavimus avoiding damage as Deftone throws knees to the body.

Amavimus lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Deftone backwards.

Amavimus manages to break the clinch.
Deftone gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Deftone clinches.
Amavimus digs a right hand into Deftone's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Deftone's gas tank.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Amavimus pushes Deftone back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Amavimus works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Amavimus has Deftone pressed against the cage.
Deftone with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Amavimus lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Amavimus lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Deftone looks winded!
Amavimus lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Amavimus lands a hook to the side of the head.

That has opened up Deadguy Deftone's cut even more.
Amavimus lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Deftone backwards.
Amavimus lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Amavimus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Amavimus plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Deftone to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Deftone just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

After winning the bout, Ogustivimus Amavimus thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
