Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexandre Carlitos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Lehner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robin Lehner will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexandre Carlitos ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robin Lehner! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lehner scoring well with a low kick there.
Carlitos blocks a jab. Lehner throws out a loose jab but Carlitos uses good head movement to avoid it. Carlitos throws a series of punches but Lehner moves out of range. Lehner dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Lehner slaps away a takedown attempt from Carlitos , before circling back to the center of the mat. Lehner throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Carlitos . Lehner jabbing away but nothing is landing. Carlitos uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lehner. Carlitos misses with a body shot.
Lehner slips under a jab from Carlitos . Lehner throws out a leg kick but Carlitos moves out of range and Lehner only half commits. Lehner lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Nice sprawl there from Lehner as Carlitos shoots in.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lehner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Carlitos has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Carlitos and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Carlitos lands a nice looking body shot.
Lehner misses with a straight right. Lehner waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Carlitos . Carlitos has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lehner finds it's way round the side to connect with Carlitos 's head. A jab lands there for Lehner. Carlitos ducks under a wild hook from Lehner. Carlitos gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lehner. A telegraphed right hand from Lehner misses the target. Carlitos takes a shot right to the bread basket. Carlitos missing with a left hand there. Lehner was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Lehner rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Carlitos counters with a single leg into guard. Lehner didn't expect that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Carlitos in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Carlitos wants to pass the guard but Lehner is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lehner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Carlitos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carlitos is looking to work some ground and pound but Lehner has wrist control. Carlitos trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Carlitos wants to control from the top but Lehner keeps moving. Carlitos throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Carlitos is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carlitos throws a big elbow that misses. Carlitos trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lehner working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Carlitos . Carlitos is pushing down on Lehner's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lehner is fighting to maintain full guard but Carlitos has managed to sneak the leg through. Carlitos tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lehner knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Carlitos is working hard here to advance position. Carlitos wants to control but Lehner is keeping him busy. Carlitos lands with a punch from half guard. Carlitos is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Lehner!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carlitos can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lehner is looking to escape. Carlitos thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Carlitos trying to control but he's not successful this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Poor strikes thrown by Carlitos there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Alexandre Carlitos dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Carlitos throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Lehner cracks Carlitos with a good jab. Carlitos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Carlitos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lehner moves away. Robin Lehner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lehner lands a nice shot that snaps Carlitos 's head back.
Carlitos thows a left - swing and a miss! Nice defenses there by Lehner. Lehner connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Lehner looks to land a right hand but Carlitos moved out of range. Lehner misses with a straight right. Lehner lands a jab. Carlitos uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lehner.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lehner connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Carlitos momentarily.
Robin Lehner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lehner thows a left - swing and a miss! Carlitos takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lehner misses with a straight right. Lehner scores with the left hand. Carlitos knows he should have avoided that one. A combination from Lehner does no damage. Lehner uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Carlitos . Lehner lands a jab to the head.
Carlitos moves away from the strike by Lehner. Carlitos misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lehner slaps away a takedown attempt from Carlitos , before circling back to the center of the mat. Lehner connects with a looping right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Carlitos . Lehner scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lehner throws a lazy right hand but Carlitos sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Lehner rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Carlitos counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Carlitos is trying to control. Lehner wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Carlitos wants to pass to mount but Lehner is defending the position. Carlitos is keen to just control but Lehner is a slippery customer. Carlitos wants to pass to mount but Lehner is defending the position. Carlitos seems to be working for a kimura but Lehner defends the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lehner is refusing to be controlled, as Carlitos sits in half guard. Lehner tries to get to full guard but Carlitos has control of the leg. Carlitos working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Carlitos tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lehner knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Carlitos is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lehner wants to control but Carlitos is keeping busy.
Carlitos thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Lehner holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Carlitos is looking to advance position but Lehner won't allow it. Alexandre Carlitos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lehner is trying to control but can't.
Carlitos looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lehner with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Robin Lehner will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Lehner throws a shot from downtown. Carlitos moves away and avoids it. Robin Lehner seems to be getting the better of the standup. Carlitos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lehner. Lehner connects with a good right hand that stumbles Carlitos . Carlitos circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Carlitos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lehner misses the jab. Lehner dips to his left and cracks Carlitos with an uppercut! Lehner scores with a jab.
Carlitos is rocked! Carlitos uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lehner. Lehner scores with the left hand. Carlitos knows he should have avoided that one. Lehner looks to land a right hand but Carlitos moved out of range. Nice uppercut lands for Lehner. That snapped Carlitos 's head back.
Oh Carlitos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A big left from Lehner misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carlitos listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Nice defenses there by Carlitos . Carlitos seems to have got his legs back now. Lehner misses with a left hand and Carlitos decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lehner's guard. Lehner looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Carlitos throws a big elbow that misses. Lehner preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lehner pulls Carlitos in close to prevent any damage. Carlitos slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Carlitos postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carlitos misses with the ground and pound. Carlitos is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lehner is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Carlitos throws an elbow but Lehner slips to the side and avoids it well. Lehner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Carlitos working the head and body with strikes. The ground and pound from Carlitos seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Carlitos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lehner keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lehner isn't going anywhere. Carlitos creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lehner sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Lehner gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Carlitos not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Carlitos sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lehner defending well though. Carlitos missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Carlitos is trying to control the action in half guard but Lehner is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Lehner moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Carlitos won't allow Lehner to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carlitos wants to control from the top but Lehner keeps moving. Carlitos won't allow Lehner to sweep him here. Carlitos with a flurry of punches that miss. Carlitos wants to pass the guard but Lehner is keeping the position. Lehner wants to sweep here but Carlitos controlling him for the moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Carlitos trying to control the position from guard on top but Lehner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alexandre Carlitos . I think Carlitos has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
