Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willy Manson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erwin Hartmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hartmann has chosen LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. Erwin Hartmann will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Willy Manson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Erwin Hartmann! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hartmann is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Manson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hartmann closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Manson did well to prevent Hartmann getting side control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Manson trying to hold on to Hartmann's head to control him but Hartmann postures up.
Manson is looking for a sweep. Hartmann is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hartmann trying to pass the guard but Manson defending well. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hartmann works his way into side control. Manson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hartmann wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Hartmann working away. Hartmann in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manson tries to improve position but can't. Hartmann tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hartmann has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Manson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Hartmann wants to take a breather but Manson is having none of it. Manson tries to roll over but Hartmann keeps him under control. Hartmann throwing shots but Manson is blocking nicely. Manson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Manson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hartmann.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Manson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hartmann defends it easily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hartmann accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hartmann must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hartmann trying to control but Manson is working from the bottom. Hartmann throws a big elbow that misses. Manson keeping moving, preventing Hartmann from controlling successfully. Hartmann trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Manson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hartmann wants to control from the top but Manson keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hartmann defends well. Manson keeping moving, preventing Hartmann from controlling successfully.
Erwin Hartmann has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Hartmann moves in looking to clinch but Manson pushes him off. Hartmann throws a head kick that misses. Hartmann throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Manson raining down hammerfists from mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Manson wants to control the pace but Hartmann is squirming around nicely. Hartmann really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Erwin Hartmann will probably get the nod. That's time! Manson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Manson takes a swing at Hartmann's ribcage but misses. Hartmann goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Hartmann tries to clinch but Manson moves out of range. Hartmann shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Manson eats them both and turns towards Hartmann to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Hartmann scores with a takedown into Manson's guard. Hartmann wants to pass the guard but Manson is keeping the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Manson keeping moving, preventing Hartmann from controlling successfully. Hartmann postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Manson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Manson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hartmann loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Manson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hartmann defends well. Manson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hartmann gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Manson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hartmann is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Manson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Manson taking punishment in the form of punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hartmann creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Manson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Manson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hartmann. Hartmann throwing shots but missing, from side control. Hartmann working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hartmann throws a strike aimed at the side of Manson's head but Manson avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hartmann in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Hartmann tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Manson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hartmann wants to control but Manson is keeping him busy. Manson prevents Hartmann from moving into mount. Hartmann working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Manson is trying to improve his position. Erwin Hartmann has got the better of the ground game so far. Manson is not content to let Hartmann control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hartmann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Manson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Manson managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Hartmann.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Manson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hartmann off and has taken his back! Manson lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Hartmann is in bad spot here.

Erwin Hartmann showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Hartmann closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Manson pulls guard. Hartmann wants to control from the top but Manson keeps moving. Hartmann is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Hartmann postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Manson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Manson working for a triangle but Hartmann defends it easily.
Hartmann stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Manson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hartmann wants to control from the top but Manson keeps moving. Hartmann trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hartmann trying to control but Manson is working from the bottom. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Manson keeping full guard, as Hartmann tries to pass. Manson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hartmann is one step ahead there. Hartmann tries to free his leg and advance position but Manson is retaining full guard. Willy Manson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Erwin Hartmann hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Hartmann wants to clinch up but Manson keeps it at a distance. Manson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Hartmann getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Erwin Hartmann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hartmann drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Manson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hartmann defends well. Erwin Hartmann is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Manson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hartmann can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hartmann with a flurry of punches that miss. Hartmann wants to control from the top but Manson keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Manson can't keep his opponent in guard - Hartmann advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Manson wants to improve his position but Hartmann is controlling well.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Hartmann seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Manson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Hartmann wants to pass the guard but Manson is defending well. Hartmann is looking to stall here but Manson recovers full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hartmann controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Erwin Hartmann comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hartmann has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
