Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gary Stilies!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Der Quvist misses with a takedown attempt
and Stilies counters with a left and a right that stings Von Der Quvist.
Von Der Quvist takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Von Der Quvist rushes Stilies and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Stilies wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Von Der Quvist has him pressed against the cage.
Stilies lands with a left to the head.
Stilies looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Stilies breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stilies lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Von Der Quvist backs up against the cage.

Von Der Quvist fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stilies sprawls well initially but Von Der Quvist persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Von Der Quvist in particular looking to stall.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Von Der Quvist is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stilies can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Von Der Quvist changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stilies tries to avoid it but Von Der Quvist manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stilies to the ground. Stilies escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Stilies lands a left and a right that send Von Der Quvist crashing to the mat, dazed. Stilies thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Oh Von Der Quvist is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stilies lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Von Der Quvist circles away quickly and effectively.
Stilies is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Von Der Quvist like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Von Der Quvist from another fist facial!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gary Stilies!
