Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Angel Dos Muertos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angel Dos Muertos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Angel Dos Muertos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cain Harper!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harper tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Dos Muertos moves into the clinch.
Harper misses with an elbow over the top.
Dos Muertos is working for takedown but Harper is calmly controlling the position for now.
Harper is trying to pull guard but Dos Muertos has him pressed against the cage.
Dos Muertos gets control of Harper's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dos Muertos will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Dos Muertos is pulling down on Harper's head. It's preventing any offense from Harper, at least for the moment.
Dos Muertos looking to hit a scissor sweep but Harper is one step ahead there.
Harper wants to stand and escape but instead Dos Muertos has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Dos Muertos stands and steps away. Harper gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Harper darts in trying to clinch
and Dos Muertos counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Harper is lucky that one didn't land flush.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Harper closes the distance but Dos Muertos moves to the side
and Dos Muertos makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Cain Harper is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dos Muertos circles away from the clinch attempt
and Harper takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Harper tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Dos Muertos counters by moving into the clinch.
Harper tries to pull guard but Dos Muertos forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Dos Muertos.
Dos Muertos gets through Harper's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Harper is trying to pull guard but Dos Muertos turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Angel Dos Muertos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cain Harper.
Dos Muertos ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dos Muertos no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Harper must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dos Muertos pushes Harper off and gets back to his feet.
Harper closes the distance looking to clinch
and Dos Muertos finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Dos Muertos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Harper wants to clinch
and Dos Muertos counters with a head kick.
Harper is rocked!
Dos Muertos lands a huge takedown. Harper is out but the ref is slow to react and Dos Muertos lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Harper lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Angel Dos Muertos!
