Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, De Bee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Cheong!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bee tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Cheong counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bee fails in his attempt to clinch.

and Cheong counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Cheong.
Bee scores with a knee to the head.

Cheong jumps into guard, dragging Bee to the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Cheong lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bee!
BOOM! Cheong connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bee is in all sorts of trouble here.

Cheong stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cheong moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Bee tries to clinch up.
De Bee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Cheong rushes Bee and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Cheong is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bee pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Bee with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Cheong should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Cheong pulls guard effortlessly.

Cheong has his foot on Bee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bee works his way back into a safe position though.
Cheong manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bee manages to get himself to full guard.
Cheong sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bee's guard.
Cheong content to control rather than advance.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bee wants to improve his position but Cheong is controlling well.
Cheong throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Cheong sitting and controlling from the half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cheong prevents Bee from improving his position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Cheong not doing much here.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Nick Cheong hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Cheong shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bee defends it nicely.
Bee closes the distance looking to clinch

and Cheong moves into the clinch.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Cheong has eaten all the pies!
Bee with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Bee is breathing heavily.
Bee crunches a lovely knee into Cheong's ribcage.
Bee with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Bee misses with a knee to the head.
Cheong fails to pull the fight into his guard.
De Bee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Cheong.
Cheong can't break the clinch.
Cheong wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Cheong tries to break the clinch but Bee is controlling the position.
Cheong softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Cheong blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Cheong wants a takedown.
Cheong is trying to force a seperation but Bee has the dominant position.
Bee managing to block the knees to the body from Cheong.
Cheong throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Cheong pulls guard.
Cheong manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bee manages to get himself to full guard.
Cheong content to stall in guard here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cheong sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bee's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cheong content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Cheong throwing shots but Bee is blocking nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nick Cheong dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Bee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
De Bee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cheong tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bee swivels and escapes.
Bee doesn't manage to clinch there - Cheong circles away.
Bee closes the distance looking to clinch
and Cheong cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Cheong drives through and clinches with Bee against the cage.

Cheong jumps guard and drags Bee to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Bee wants to stand but Cheong has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Cheong working for a triangle but Bee defends it easily.
Cheong is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Cheong manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bee manages to get himself to full guard.
Cheong works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Cheong has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bee is trying desperately to improve position.
Cheong content just to control the position here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cheong landing strikes, looking to finish!
Bee has given up his back here. Will Cheong look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Cheong has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
