Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lars Larsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lars Larsen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lars Larsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Miller!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larsen tries a head kick but it misses.
Larsen dives in and grabs Miller's left leg, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes down on Larsen's head and hops out.

Miller gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Miller tries to break the clinch but Larsen is controlling the position.
Miller wants to break free but Larsen has control.

Miller successfully pulls guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Miller is looking for a triangle here but Larsen uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Larsen creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Miller sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Larsen stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Larsen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Miller shoots in for a takedown but Larsen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Larsen fakes the leg kick and cracks Miller in the body.
Larsen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Larsen throws a series of strikes that have Miller backpedaling.
Miller fails in his attempt to clinch.
Miller tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Larsen swivels and escapes.
Lars Larsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Miller.
Larsen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Miller avoids it really well and circles away.
Miller tries to clinch there but Larsen circles away.
Larsen lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Larsen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A head kick misses from Larsen.

Larsen has managed to clinch.

Larsen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Miller shoots in and drives through. Larsen sprawls well.

Miller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Miller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Larsen is looking for a sweep.
Larsen is breathing heavily.

Miller goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Larsen rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Miller's guard! Nice work there by Larsen!
Miller pulls Larsen in close to his closed guard and prevents Larsen from doing any damage or advancing position.
Miller doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Larsen stands and steps away. Miller gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Miller fails with a takedown attempt.
Miller shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Larsen but Larsen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Larsen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Miller shoots for a takedown but Larsen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Larsen shoots in but Miller avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Larsen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Miller defends it nicely.
Miller throws a body kick that misses
and Larsen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Larsen lands with a nice body kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Larsen closes the distance and clinches.

Miller jumps guard.

Larsen wants to get up but he can't break Miller's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Miller pulls Larsen in close to prevent any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Miller keeping moving, preventing Larsen from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Lars Larsen will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Miller has managed to clinch.

Miller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Larsen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miller's waist but Miller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Larsen off to one side.
Larsen dives in and grabs Miller's left leg, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes down on Larsen's head and hops out.
Miller connects with an inside leg kick.
Miller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Larsen as he avoids it easily.

Larsen has closed the distance and engaged Miller in a clinch.
Miller fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Larsen tries to circle away but Miller has him pinned against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Miller just misses with a elbow thrown towards Larsen's brow.
Miller stalling in the clinch but Larsen improves position.
Miller tries to pull guard but Larsen won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Miller jumps guard but Larsen turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Lars Larsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Miller.

Larsen wants to take the fight to the mat but Miller manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Larsen.

Miller gets control of Larsen's arms and successfully pulls guard. Miller will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Larsen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miller on the ground.
Larsen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Miller is keeping the position for now.
Miller not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Miller is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Larsen defends well.

Miller has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Larsen should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Miller has tightened it up now! Larsen should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
