Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jakub Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Henson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Muller might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nightwish - Amaranth. The crowd seem to be enjoying Henson's choice of entrance music: Die MF Die by Dope. Mickey Henson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Muller misses.
Muller cracks Henson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Muller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Muller avoids a punch combination nicely.
Muller misses the jab.
Henson looks to land a combination. Muller sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Jakub Muller has been cut.
Henson on the wrong end of a nice jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Muller misses with a wild body shot.
Muller keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Henson ducks under a wild hook from Muller.
Henson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Muller moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Muller showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Henson.
Jab by Muller.
Henson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Henson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Muller's waist but Muller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Henson off to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Muller throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Henson tumbling to the canvas!
Henson is rocked!
Muller passes Henson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Henson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Henson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Muller is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Henson tries to get to full guard but Muller has control of the leg.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Henson tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Muller trying to pass the guard but Henson defending well.
Henson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Henson wants to get back to full guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Muller moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Muller swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Muller jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Henson tries to move into range but Muller moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Henson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Henson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Henson tries to bum rush Muller with a series of wild strikes but Muller uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mickey Henson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henson looks gassed!
Henson looks up at the clock. Bad move! Muller lands a right hand from hell, dropping Henson. Muller pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jakub Muller!
