Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Randy Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jukka Purjo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jukka Purjo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jukka Purjo!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Liddell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Purjo but Purjo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Purjo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A head kick misses from Liddell.
Liddell closes the distance and clinches up with Purjo, looking for a takedown. Liddell pushes Purjo against the cage but Purjo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randy Liddell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A combination from Purjo does no damage.
Liddell misses with a few strikes there.
Purjo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Liddell fails with a takedown attempt.
Liddell moves out of range as Purjo strikes.
Liddell tries to move into range but Purjo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Liddell is rocked!
Purjo fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Liddell out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Jukka Purjo!
