Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from First misses.
Sjoberg throws a series of punches but First moves out of range.
Sjoberg throws a series of strikes that have First backpedaling.
First scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Mikael Sjoberg has been cut.
Sjoberg changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. First tries to avoid it but Sjoberg manages to keep hold of a leg and drag First to the ground. First escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A telegraphed right hand from First misses the target.
Sjoberg rushes First and presses him up against the ropes.
Sjoberg changes levels and goes for a takedown here. First fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Mikael Sjoberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
First throws a series of punches but Sjoberg moves out of range.
Sjoberg works the jab nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oooh a lovely combination from First sends Sjoberg down but not out. First dives into side control looking to finish.
An elbow from First crashes against the mat.
First scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sjoberg to see if he's OK.
First landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Sjoberg is looking for a sweep.

First is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sjoberg has escaped the position, nice work there.
Sjoberg tries to improve position but can't.
You can see the frustration on Sjoberg's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
First swings around for an armbar but Sjoberg sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into First's guard.

Sjoberg chips away with some ground and pound.
Sjoberg stands and throws First's legs to the side, diving into side control.
First tries to buck Sjoberg off but Sjoberg is having none of it.
Sjoberg lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear First down.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sjoberg wants to lay and pray for a moment but First keeps working.
First striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Sjoberg thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Sjoberg is breathing heavily.
Sjoberg controlling the position.
First is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
First throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sjoberg closes the distance and clinches up with First, looking for a takedown. Sjoberg pushes First against the ropes but First circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikael Sjoberg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
First lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Sjoberg shoots in and drives through. First sprawls well.
Good shot there by First.
Sjoberg takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mikael Sjoberg's cut is getting worse.
This has been an exciting period of action!
First sends Sjoberg crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! First is motioning to the referee to let Sjoberg up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Sjoberg is rocked!
First thows a left - swing and a miss!
First lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Sjoberg falls backwards - clearly groggy! First dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
