PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Very Magnum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Lyons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lyons comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kvelertak- Kvelertak kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Very Magnum has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lyons moves into the clinch.
Lyons using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Magnum has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Magnum can't get the takedown.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Magnum connects with a nice short shot to Lyons's temple.

Lyons looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Magnum with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lyons sneaks out the side door and pushes Magnum away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Lyons is trying to trip Magnum. He has hold of a leg but Magnum is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lyons persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Magnum is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well Lyons has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
