Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alejandro De La Souza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Stump Whacker! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De La Souza misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Whacker keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from De La Souza. Whacker instigates a clinch. Whacker connects with a nasty looking knee right to De La Souza's face.
It looks like Alejandro De La Souza has been cut. Whacker pulls De La Souza into guard.
Whacker is trying to control the position but De La Souza postures up. Whacker looking for a sweep. Not yet Whacker, not yet. Whacker has his hands on De La Souza's head, controlling the position. Whacker looking for a guillotine here but De La Souza defends easily.

Whacker moves into full mount! De La Souza won't be happy about that! Whacker has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of De La Souza's face.
De La Souza is looking to get to half guard. De La Souza really wants to buck Whacker off and get back to his feet. Whacker jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but De La Souza manages to avoid the submission attempt. De La Souza is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Whacker asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De La Souza is trying to get back to half guard. Whacker advances nicely into full mount. Whacker working for a submission but De La Souza is keeping him at bay. Whacker won't let De La Souza get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. De La Souza tries to lock up and control but Whacker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Whacker trying to control but he's not successful this time. Whacker working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Whacker looking to control but De La Souza is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De La Souza really wants to buck Whacker off and get back to his feet. De La Souza is squirming around, avoiding Whacker's attempts to control the action. Whacker won't let De La Souza get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Whacker jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but De La Souza manages to avoid the submission attempt. De La Souza is trying to buck Whacker off. Whacker looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. De La Souza knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Whacker on the ground. De La Souza is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Whacker has just dragged him back down to the mat. Whacker advances nicely into full mount. Whacker is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, De La Souza has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Whacker swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and De La Souza is now in Whacker's guard. A big mistake from Whacker there, giving up the dominant position! Whacker working for a triangle but De La Souza defends it easily.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Whacker had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. De La Souza is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Whacker Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take De La Souza's back instead. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
