The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shavnetski avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shavnetski fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Roland is out of range.
Shavnetski fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Roland sprawls well initially but Shavnetski persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Roland tries to roll over but Shavnetski keeps him under control.
Shavnetski thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Roland throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Roland is trying to stand up here but Shavnetski is controlling him well.
Roland wants to get back to full guard.

Shavnetski is pressing down on Roland's thigh, looking to free his foot. Roland is holding on for now.
Roland kicks Shavnetski off and gets back to his feet.
Roland throws a leg kick but Shavnetski moved away.
Roland shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shavnetski pinned against the cage. Shavnetski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Shavnetski connects with a stiff jab that staggers Roland - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
