Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Asher Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lassi Lambada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
34 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asher Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lassi Lambada! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lambada is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee. Lee stuffs the takedown attempt from Lambada. Lambada gets slowly back to his feet. Lee slips under a jab. Lee throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lambada. Lambada ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lee moves away. Lambada needs to keep his hands up - Lee had a free shot at his head there. Lambada tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lee swivels and escapes. Lambada tries to work over Lee's front leg with a kick but Lee checks it. Lambada scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Lambada moves away from the strike by Lee. Lambada doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Lambada swinging wildly here.
Lee throws a jab when Lambada was well out of range. Lee lands with a shot to the body. Lambada fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Asher Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lassi Lambada. Lambada throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lambada.
Lambada throws a right hand that misses
and Lee counters with a right hand to the body. A big right from Lee misses. No luck for Lambada with that takedown attempt. Asher Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lambada throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Lambada finishes the takedown easily into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Lambada controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Lambada trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom. Lambada wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lambada postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee pulls Lambada in close to his closed guard and prevents Lambada from doing any damage or advancing position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lambada sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lee's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lambada perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lee throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lambada looks to land a combination but Lee avoids it well. Lambada fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee throws the left hand but Lambada avoids the punch easily. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lee, as that shot connected.
Lee scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Lambada takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Lambada misses with a double jab.
Lee throws a hook to the side of Lambada's head but Lambada sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lee throws a leg kick but Lambada checks it. Lambada instigates a clinch. Lee tries to throw a body punch but Lambada avoids it by throwing Lee back against the cage. Lambada manages to break the clinch.
Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lambada tries to work over Lee's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Lambada blocking some punches.
Lee misses with a hook from the clinch. Good body shot from Lambada.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lambada lands a body shot in the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Lambada softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Lee fails to land. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Lambada gets through Lee's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Lee misses with a hook from the clinch. A short right from Lambada on the inside. Lambada manages to break the clinch.
Lambada throws a big shot that misses. Lambada tries to clinch up but Lee circles away and keeps his distance. Lee misses with a wild combination.
Lee bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lambada has managed to clinch.
Lambada has clasped his hands together around Lee's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Lambada wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lassi Lambada dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lee looks to land a right hand but Lambada moved out of range. Lee jabbing away but nothing is landing. Asher Lee is winning the standup battle so far. Lambada has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lee finds it's way round the side to connect with Lambada's head. Lambada keeps the fight on the outside. Lambada is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lee.
Lambada is rocked! Lee finds Lambada's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Lambada flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Lee lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Lambada will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Asher Lee! After winning the bout, Asher Lee thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
