Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fatih Emir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Eduardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Emir might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to i kill people. Eduardo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Numb. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fatih Emir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Eduardo! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emir throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Eduardo to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Fatih Emir has been cut. Eduardo rushes Emir and presses him up against the cage. Emir jumps guard but Eduardo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Eduardo misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Emir.
Emir has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Eduardo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Eduardo trying to control the position but instead, Emir has worked for underhooks and has pushed Eduardo into the cage. Eduardo landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Eduardo scores with an uppercut up the middle. Emir avoiding damage as Eduardo throws knees to the body.
Eduardo gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Emir.

Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. The ref stands the fighters back up. Carlos Eduardo was stalling too much, according to the referee. Eduardo gets in close and instigates a clinch. Eduardo tries to throw a body punch but Emir avoids it by throwing Eduardo back against the cage. Eduardo is pressed up against the cage. Emir has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Eduardo down to the mat. Eduardo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Eduardo looks to land a combination but Emir avoids it well. Eduardo bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Emir shoots in but Eduardo avoids the takedown attempt easily. Emir fails with a takedown attempt. Eduardo pushes Emir up against the cage in a clinch. Emir jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Eduardo walks away with a smile on his face. Emir gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Emir misses with a takedown attempt - Eduardo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Eduardo has closed the distance and engaged Emir in a clinch.
Eduardo is looking to control Emir's arms but Emir gets an underhook and turns him. Now Eduardo has his back to the cage. Emir avoiding damage as Eduardo throws knees to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Eduardo lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Knees in the clinch landing for Eduardo.
A head punch on the inside from Eduardo fails to land. Emir turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Emir manages to end up in side control. Emir is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Eduardo has escaped the position, nice work there. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Emir cracks Eduardo with an elbow. That is naaassty. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Eduardo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Fatih Emir's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Eduardo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Emir looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Eduardo! Eduardo tries to bench press Emir off him but Emir keeps the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Emir goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Eduardo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Emir but great work by Eduardo. You can see the frustration on Emir's face as Eduardo controls the position. Emir trying his best to control but Eduardo has mounted him. Eduardo trying to control but Emir is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emir tries to hold on but Eduardo pushes him away. Eduardo content just to control the position here. Emir is desperately trying to improve his position but Eduardo has a good base and remains in mount. Emir is squirming around, avoiding Eduardo's attempts to control the action. Emir tries to hold on but Eduardo postures up. Emir is looking to improve his position but Eduardo isn't that keen on the idea.

Emir tries to lock up and control but Eduardo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Emir is desperately trying to improve his position but Eduardo has a good base and remains in mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Eduardo trying to control but he's not successful this time. Fatih Emir overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Emir throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Emir tries to hold on but Eduardo pushes him away.

Emir is squirming around, avoiding Eduardo's attempts to control the action. Emir holds of for dear life. Emir can't escape the position.

Emir looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Emir looking for submissions off his back. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Fatih Emir will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Fatih Emir's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Emir shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Emir closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Eduardo to the mat! Eduardo manages to get full guard. Emir wants to control from the top but Eduardo keeps moving. Emir trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Eduardo keeping moving, preventing Emir from controlling successfully. Emir wants to pass the guard but Eduardo is keeping the position. Eduardo working a defensive guard but Emir manages to pass into side control anyway.
An elbow from Emir crashes against the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eduardo is looking for a sweep. Emir is chipping away with strikes.
Emir lands a decent elbow from side control. Eduardo struggling a bit here. Emir tries for a kimura but Eduardo is defending well. Emir goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Eduardo rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Emir's guard! Nice work there by Eduardo! Eduardo controls from within his opponent's guard. Emir striking off his back but it's not causing Eduardo any problems.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eduardo passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Eduardo in particular looking to stall. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carlos Eduardo has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Eduardo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Eduardo throws a push kick but Emir slaps the foot to one side. Eduardo has managed to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Emir tries to score a body lock takedown but Eduardo shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Emir tries to pull guard but Eduardo won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Emir blocks an elbow strike. Eduardo displaying some good clinch control by pressing Emir up against the cage. Emir blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Eduardo lands a nice knee to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Emir prevents a body shot from Eduardo. Emir gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Eduardo regains guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Eduardo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Emir trying to control but Eduardo is working from the bottom. Emir throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Eduardo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fatih Emir. I think Emir has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
