Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moses will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Steele looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Moses tries to score a power double leg takedown but Steele sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Moses somewhat. Moses fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Steele avoids it really well and circles away. Moses closes the distance and clinches up with Steele, looking for a takedown. Moses pushes Steele against the cage but Steele circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Matt Steele has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leroy Moses. Moses will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Moses is defended easily by Steele. Moses dives in and grabs Steele's left leg, looking for a takedown. Steele pushes down on Moses's head and hops out. Moses shoots in for a takedown but Steele shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steele closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Moses quickly recovers to half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Moses is looking to escape. Steele throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Moses is looking to improve his position.
Steele trying to pass the guard but Moses defending well. Moses manages to escape and get back to his feet! Moses dodges the punch combination from Steele.
Steele slaps away a takedown attempt from Moses, before circling back to the center of the mat. Moses has his takedown stuffed and Steele counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Steele.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Moses wants to sweep here but Steele controlling him for the moment. Steele pushing down on Moses's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Moses controlling the position for now. Steele thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Steele is trying to control the action in half guard but Moses is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moses looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Steele tries to pass to full mount but Moses defends it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steele trying to control from half guard but Moses is working away. Moses moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Moses is looking to stand up but Steele isn't so interested in that idea. Moses manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Steele is looking to get to half guard. Steele knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moses on the ground.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Moses looking to ground and pound but Steele is blocking nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Matt Steele will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Steele gets tackled into the cage by Moses. Moses maintains the clinch. Moses ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Moses no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moses is trying to keep Steele in close.
Moses might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Steele haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Moses is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Steele slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Moses. Moses is trying to maintain the position but Steele is very close to passing his half guard. Moses looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Moses manages to get to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moses is pulling down on Steele's head to control his posture. Steele has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Moses scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Steele misses with a series of wild punches.

and Moses counters with a left to the body. Moses clinches up with Steele and pushes him back against the cage. Steele wants to take the fight to the mat but Moses manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Moses gets control of Steele's arms and successfully pulls guard. Moses will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steele trying to control but Moses is working from the bottom. Moses bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Steele's guard. Steele can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Moses controls the pace. Moses throwing strikes but missing. Moses slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Moses moves into the clinch successfully.
Moses pulls guard effortlessly. Moses looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Moses keeping moving, preventing Steele from controlling successfully. Moses is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Moses working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Steele doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Steele manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Steele wants to pass the guard but Moses is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moses manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Steele manages to get himself to full guard.
Moses is pushing down on Steele's leg trying to pass to half guard. Steele is fighting to maintain full guard but Moses has managed to sneak the leg through. Moses controlling the pace. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moses's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leroy Moses showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Moses looking to hit a scissor sweep but Steele is one step ahead there. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Moses holds on and takes a little breather. Moses is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Steele advances position into side control! Moses is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Steele's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Steele sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Steele wants to pass to mount but Moses is defending the position. Steele looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Steele is looking to take a break and control but Moses is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Steele seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Moses does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Moses trying to hold on to Steele's head to control him but Steele postures up.

Steele should have avoided that one. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moses doesn't succeed with the takedown and Steele counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Moses!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Matt Steele. I think Steele has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
