Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Mctanned (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dum Vivimus Vivamus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vivamus has chosen Ratamahatta as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dum Vivimus Vivamus!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vivamus tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vivamus connects with a solid leg kick.
Vivamus lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Vivamus throws an overhand right that lands on Mctanned's shoulder, as Mctanned tries to avoid the shot.
Mctanned moves out of range as Vivamus strikes.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Vivamus.
Mctanned blocks a head kick by Vivamus.
Vivamus throws a sloppy head kick and Mctanned moves out of range easily.
Vivamus throws a sloppy head kick and Mctanned moves out of range easily.
Vivamus throws a head kick that half lands.


It looks like Paul Mctanned has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

so Mctanned counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Mctanned trying to control the position from guard on top but Vivamus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Vivamus misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Dum Vivimus Vivamus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vivamus throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mctanned on the side of the head.

Mctanned is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Vivamus is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Mctanned seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vivamus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Mctanned is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Vivamus knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Mctanned wants to control for a moment but Vivamus uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Mctanned seems to be working for a kimura but Vivamus defends the submission attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Vivamus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mctanned sees it coming and avoids it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vivamus is not content to let Mctanned control the position.

Mctanned postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Mctanned tries to score with some ground and pound. Vivamus controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Paul Mctanned overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Mctanned wants to control but Vivamus is keeping him busy.
Vivamus is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Mctanned is controlling him well.

Mctanned wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Vivamus, who protects the arm well.
Mctanned moves into full mount!
Vivamus stops Mctanned from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Poor strikes thrown by Mctanned there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Mctanned trying to control but Vivamus is having none of it.
Mctanned can't control as he wanted to and Vivamus manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
Mctanned wants to pass to mount but Vivamus is defending the position.

Mctanned cracks Vivamus with a big elbow.
Mctanned scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Vivamus to see if he's OK.
Vivamus takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Mctanned advances to full mount.

Mctanned is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Vivamus has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Vivamus!

Mctanned is looking for a triangle here but Vivamus uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Vivamus wants to stand but Mctanned is controlling his arm.

Vivamus has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Vivamus throws a body kick that misses.

Vivamus fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mctanned has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Dum Vivimus Vivamus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Vivamus has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
