Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Petr Hrdlica! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Roger Nelson! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson has a takedown stuffed. Nelson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nelson is looking to clinch but Hrdlica is avoiding it.

Hrdlica lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nelson slips under a jab. Hrdlica misses with a body shot.
Nelson shoots in and drives through. Hrdlica sprawls well. Nelson tries to clinch there but Hrdlica circles away.
Nelson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Hrdlica paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hrdlica avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hrdlica throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nelson shoots in looking for a takedown. Hrdlica tries to sprawl out of it but Nelson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Hrdlica manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Petr Hrdlica has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Nelson. Nelson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hrdlica throws a lazy right hand but Nelson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nelson is looking to clinch. Hrdlica with a jab. Hrdlica misses with a hook. Nelson ducked under it nicely. Nelson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hrdlica on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Nelson. Nelson obviously looking to wear him down.

It looks like Roger Nelson has been cut. Nelson fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hrdlica throws an overhand right that lands on Nelson's shoulder, as Nelson tries to avoid the shot. Nelson tries to close the distance and clinch but Hrdlica swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hrdlica lands a nice shot to the body.
Hrdlica connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Roger Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight moves into the clinch position. Nelson lands a knee to the head.
Nelson tries to stall but Hrdlica uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hrdlica lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Nelson backwards. Hrdlica wants to break free but Nelson has control.
Nelson throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Hrdlica using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Nelson has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Hrdlica is trying to drag Nelson to the mat but Nelson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. Nelson looking to slow down the pace here. Hrdlica escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nelson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Nelson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hrdlica.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nelson wants to clinch up but Hrdlica keeps it at a distance. Nelson misses with an attempted mid kick.

Hrdlica fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Nelson wants to clinch. Nelson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Nelson lands in his opponent's guard. Hrdlica is pulling down on Nelson's head. It's preventing any offense from Nelson, at least for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hrdlica looking to sweep here. No luck so far. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hrdlica holds on and takes a little breather.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Nelson showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Hrdlica is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hrdlica looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Nelson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Nelson wants to pass to mount but Hrdlica is defending the position. Hrdlica wants to control the action here but instead Nelson manages to pass to full mount!
That's six minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hrdlica working to try and regain half guard.
Hrdlica is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hrdlica is trying to escape the mount.
Nelson wants to control the pace but Hrdlica is squirming around nicely. Nelson punishing his opponent with strikes. Nelson trying to control but Hrdlica is having none of it.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Hrdlica has left one of his arms exposed and Nelson doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Hrdlica screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
