Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Dimagiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jose Dimagiba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kenji Ling! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dimagiba.
Ling throws a right and a left that Dimagiba avoids nicely. A low kick from Ling is predictable there and Dimagiba counters with a stiff right hand. Dimagiba swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ling has managed to clinch.
Dimagiba breaks the clinch.
Ling takes a shot right to the bread basket. Dimagiba rushes Ling and presses him up against the ropes. With the fighters up against the ropes, Dimagiba throws an elbow but misses. Dimagiba lands with a short shot to the head. Dimagiba manages to break the clinch.
Ling closes the distance looking to clinch enabling Dimagiba to counter with a crisp jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dimagiba fails with an attempt to clinch.

Ling shoots in but no luck this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ling circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dimagiba wants to clinch up but Ling keeps it at a distance. Ling fails with a takedown attempt. Dimagiba has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dimagiba lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Ling misses with an elbow strike.
Dimagiba scores with a knee to the head.
Dimagiba lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Ling tries to stall but Dimagiba uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Ling takes an elbow to the temple. A knee to the head by Dimagiba.
It looks like Kenji Ling has been cut. Ling takes an elbow to the temple. Dimagiba throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dimagiba lands a good knee to the midsection. Ling won't want to take too many of those. Ling looks winded! This has been an exciting period of action! Dimagiba gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Dimagiba connects with a knee to the head.
A short right from Dimagiba on the inside. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Dimagiba obliges. Dimagiba lands a good knee to the midsection. Ling won't want to take too many of those. Ling takes an elbow to the forehead. Dimagiba lands with a short head shot on the inside. Dimagiba gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Dimagiba pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dimagiba clinches. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dimagiba lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Dimagiba pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Ling! Dimagiba unloads with more strikes and Ling sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Dimagiba! After the fight, Jose Dimagiba was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
