Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Dimagiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dimagiba.
Ling throws a right and a left that Dimagiba avoids nicely.

and Dimagiba counters with a stiff right hand.
Dimagiba swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Ling has managed to clinch.

With the fighters up against the ropes, Dimagiba throws an elbow but misses.

Ling tries to stall but Dimagiba uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Dimagiba pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

After the fight, Jose Dimagiba was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
