Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shank Flabbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flabbott's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Wait and Bleed. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Shank Flabbott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jonny Do!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flabbott fails with an attempt to clinch.
Flabbott blocks the body kick.
Do misses with a leg kick
and Flabbott counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Horrible takedown by Flabbott or perhaps it was just good defense by Do which made him look bad.
Do throws a right and a left that Flabbott avoids nicely.
Do throws a leg kick that misses.
Do throws a front kick aimed at Flabbott's knee but Flabbott avoids it well.
Flabbott slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Do misses the target.
Flabbott uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Do.
Shank Flabbott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flabbott tries to clinch but Do moves away
and Flabbott takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Do moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Do keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Flabbott.
Flabbott misses with a straight right.
Do misses with a low kick.
Flabbott misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Do blocks a jab.
Do misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Do slips under a jab.
Flabbott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Do tries to avoid it but Flabbott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Do to the ground. Do escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Do moves out of range as Flabbott strikes.
Flabbott is looking to land body kicks.
Do lands a body shot.
Do moves out of range as Flabbott strikes.
Do shoots in looking for a takedown but Flabbott manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Do's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Do throws a body punch but Flabbott moves out of range.
Flabbott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Do tries to avoid it but Flabbott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Do to the ground. Do escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shank Flabbott. That's going to take a lot out of him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Flabbott is trying to maintain the position but Do is very close to passing his half guard.
Do has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Do wants to lay and pray for a moment but Flabbott keeps working.
Do throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Do is looking to take a break and control but Flabbott is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Do winds up and cracks Flabbott with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Do looking to sit in guard and control but Flabbott gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Do is looking to stand up but Flabbott isn't so interested in that idea.

Flabbott is standing up over Do. Do looks to escape but Flabbott dives into side control.
I wouldn't like to be where Do is right now.
Do is trying to buck Flabbott off.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Do keeping moving, preventing Flabbott from controlling successfully.
Flabbott throws an elbow that misses. Do uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Flabbott's guard. Nice move by Do!
Do is pushing down on Flabbott's leg trying to pass to half guard. Flabbott is fighting to maintain full guard but Do has managed to sneak the leg through.

Do loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Do trying to control but Flabbott is working from the bottom.

Do with a flurry of punches that miss.
Do scoring with punches to the head and body.
Do throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Flabbott works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Flabbott manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Do is looking to get to half guard.

Flabbott goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Do turns into him and now he's in Flabbott's guard.
Flabbott tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Do scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Do controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Do accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close second round but I would say that Shank Flabbott will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jonny Do's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Do pushes Flabbott away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Flabbott gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Do is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Flabbott is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Flabbott swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Do is now in Flabbott's guard. A big mistake from Flabbott there, giving up the dominant position!

Do is fighting to break Flabbott's control of his arms but Flabbott is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Flabbott tries to close the distance and clinch up but Do swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Flabbott misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A low kick from Do is predictable there
enabling Flabbott to counter with a crisp jab.
Flabbott tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Flabbott looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Flabbott throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fighters circling - Do throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Flabbott checks a leg kick nicely.
Do connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Flabbott momentarily.

Flabbott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Do manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Flabbott closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Do quickly recovers to half guard.
Do tries to roll over but Flabbott keeps him under control.
