The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoffskov takes one on the button.
Hoffskov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wooney looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wooney is looking for a sweep.
Wooney defending against the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoffskov prevents Wooney from escaping the position.
Hoffskov misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Hoffskov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Wooney will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hoffskov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hoffskov is keen to just control but Wooney is a slippery customer.
Hoffskov is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wooney is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Hoffskov is looking to stall here but Wooney recovers full guard.
Hoffskov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
