The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lipponen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Calaway closes the distance and clinches up with Lipponen, looking for a takedown. Calaway pushes Lipponen against the cage but Lipponen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lipponen fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Calaway is out of range.
Calaway buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Calaway shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Lipponen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Calaway defends well.
