The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manalo gets a takedown into half guard.

Manalo is persistently looking for the submission but Lee is defending it well.
Manalo keeps control of the position easily here as Lee tries to buck him off.

Manalo scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Manalo cracks Lee with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Lee from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Manalo lands punches and elbows.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
You can see the frustration on Lee's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
What can Lee do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Manalo lands a shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Manalo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Manalo moves out of range easily.
Horrible takedown by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Manalo which made him look bad.

Manalo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lee is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Manalo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Manalo has managed to get both his arms back between Lee's legs - danger averted.

Manalo cracks Lee with a big right hand but Lee just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Manalo scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Lee to see if he's OK.

Manalo is looking to take a break and control but Lee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Manalo is trying to get an arm triangle but Lee is defending well.

Manalo goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lee rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Manalo's guard! Nice work there by Lee!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lee would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Manalo pulls Lee in close to prevent any damage.

Manalo is looking to cinch up a triangle. Lee throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Manalo's body to avoid the submission. Manalo has instead reached around Lee's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Manalo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Keahi Manalo!
