Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Shia Locke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reinhart Vult (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Vult's choice of entrance music: War Machine by KISS. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shia Locke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Reinhart Vult!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Locke throws a body kick that misses.
Vult is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Vult tries to clinch but Locke moves out of range.
Vult walks into a jab.
It looks like Reinhart Vult has been cut.
Vult takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Locke is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Locke lands a nice looking body shot.
Locke ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Locke cracks a nice hook into Vult's ribs.
Locke misses with a leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Locke looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Locke swats away the attempt to clinch by Vult.
Locke avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Vult gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Vult lands a damaging elbow.
Locke misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Vult.
Vult pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Locke misses with a low kick.
Vult moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Locke looks low and kicks high, catching Vult right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!
Vult is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vult missing with a left hand there. Locke was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Vult is still on wobbly legs! Can Locke finish him?
Locke throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vult seems to have recovered his senses.
Locke lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vult at a distance.
Vult misses with a two punch combination.
Vult swinging wildly here.
Locke cracks Vult with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Vult is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Vult is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Vult could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Shia Locke!
After winning the bout, Shia Locke thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
