Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Boucher!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boucher tries to clinch there but Paulsen circles away.
Paulsen scores with a jab to the body.
Both fighters circling a little - Paulsen finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Boucher moves to clinch but Paulsen breaks away
and Paulsen counters with a nice body shot.
Paulsen avoids the head kick by Boucher.
Boucher clinches up with Paulsen and pushes him back against the cage.
Paulsen scores with a shot to the side of Boucher's head.
Paulsen lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Paulsen landing knees to the head.
It looks like Jean Boucher has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A short right from Paulsen on the inside.
Paulsen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Paulsen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bouchers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Boucher throws a lazy uppercut
and Boucher takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Boucher darts in trying to clinch
and Paulsen counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Paulsen cracks Boucher with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Paulsen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Boucher to stand back up!
Boucher is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boucher closes the distance but Paulsen moves to the side
and Paulsen counters with a crisp right that sends Boucher to the canvas! Paulsen follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Morten Paulsen!
Morten Paulsen was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
