Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Griggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Battle Hymn - Manowar. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Brown gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Griggs.
It looks like Rodney Brown has been cut.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up but Griggs swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Griggs avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Brown is looking to get back to full guard here but Griggs has managed to pass to side control instead.

Griggs cracks Brown with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Griggs immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Brown is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Griggs!
