Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Numb.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Numb.
Reyes tries for a takedown but Numb sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Numb pivots, looking for a leg kick but Reyes is out of range and Numb settles back down.
Reyes throws out a powerful jab.
Numb scores with a takedown into Reyes's guard.
Reyes keeping moving, preventing Numb from controlling successfully.
Reyes pulls Numb in close to prevent any damage.
Reyes is looking to stand up but Numb isn't so interested in that idea.

Numb connects with a couple of short punches.
Numb is looking to work some ground and pound but Reyes has wrist control.
Numb looking to pass the guard.
Reyes manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Reyes cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Numb has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Numb is looking to improve his position but Reyes isn't that keen on the idea.
Reyes lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Numb tries to reverse the position but Reyes maintains control.
Numb is squirming around, avoiding Reyes's attempts to control the action.
