Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakurai fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sakurai tries for a takedown but Cyran sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cyran shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sakurai napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Sakurai might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cyran seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Cyran is nestled in close to Sakurai, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Cyran is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Sakurai is hurt! He's hurt bad - Cyran fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Sakurai from any more punishment! Congratulations to Cyran! Great finish!
