Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Les Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nic Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul comes into the arena with Hell & Back blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 17 - 1, fighting out of New York, Les Paul! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nic Ryan! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryan thows a left - swing and a miss! Paul takes the fight into the clinch. Knees in the clinch landing for Paul.
Paul lands a nice uppercut. Paul jumps guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Paul working for a triangle but Ryan defends it easily.
Paul is pulling down on Ryan's head to control his posture. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Les Paul wasn't doing enough on the ground. Paul avoids the body shot from Ryan.
Paul clinches. Ryan landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Paul tries to pull guard but Ryan forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Ryan is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Paul is keeping busy. Paul successfully pulls guard.
Paul wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Ryan wanted to stand there but Paul had control of the position. Paul kicks Ryan off and gets to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Paul manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Nic Ryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ryan tries to land a leg kick but Paul saw it coming and moves away.
Ryan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Paul sees it coming and avoids it easily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Paul throws a sloppy head kick and Ryan moves out of range easily. A swing and a miss from Ryan. Ryan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Paul swats him away and circles back towards the center. Paul darts in and clinches Ryan up against the cage. Paul jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ryan walks away with a smile on his face. Paul gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Paul moves into range and clinches up with Ryan. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Ryan tries to circle away but Paul has him pinned against the cage. Paul is trying to pull guard but Ryan turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Les Paul. That's going to take a lot out of him. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Ryan. Paul has Ryan pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Paul pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ryan tumbling to the mat - Paul dives into Ryan's guard. Paul controlling from the top position. Ryan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Paul. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Paul prevents Ryan from getting back to his feet. Paul passes into half guard. Paul is looking for a kimura here.
Ryan pushes Paul off looking to stand but Paul dives back in and keeps control.
Paul is trying for a kimura here. Ryan looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Paul wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Les Paul! Les Paul took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Thank you first off to god he gives me strength. My fans who keep me going and to Team Thomas fight Club for allowing me to fight for them!'.
