Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lola scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Mowbray is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lola's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lola tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mowbray throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mowbray shoots in for a takedown but Lola shows good takedown defense.
Lola lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mowbray circles away quickly and effectively.
Horrible takedown by Mowbray or perhaps it was just good defense by Lola which made him look bad.

Mowbray jumps guard but Lola turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Lola drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lola lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mowbray down.
Lola is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Mowbray's shoulder. That is not cool.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lola decides to stand back up.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mowbray tries to clinch but Lola is having none of it.
Mowbray stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mowbray wants it to stay on the feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mowbray.
Lola throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Lola closes the distance and clinches.
Lola escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lola tries to land a front kick but Mowbray steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lola clinches up with Mowbray and pushes him back against the cage.
Lola is fighting off a takedown attempt but Mowbray is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lola to the mat. Lola regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Mowbray stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lola swivels though and keeps the full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lola is trying to trip Mowbray. He has hold of a leg but Mowbray is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lola persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Mowbray pulls Lola in close to his closed guard and prevents Lola from doing any damage or advancing position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lola feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
