Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Einari Mohko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joni Jarvinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mohko comes to the cage accompanied by Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus - Älä enää lyö. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mohko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jarvinen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mohko scores with a takedown into Jarvinen's guard.

Jarvinen looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Mohko puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Mohko moves into the clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Mohko.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Mohko for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Mohko is pressed up against the cage. Jarvinen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mohko down to the mat. Mohko avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Mohko moves in looking to clinch but Jarvinen pushes him off.

and Mohko counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mohko.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jarvinen is pressed up against the cage. Mohko has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jarvinen down to the mat. Jarvinen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mohko stuffs the takedown attempt from Jarvinen. Jarvinen gets slowly back to his feet.

and Mohko counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jarvinen's guard now.

Mohko wants to control from the top but Jarvinen keeps moving.

Jarvinen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mohko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Mohko is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jarvinen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The is referee keeping an eye on Mohko - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jarvinen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jarvinen closes the distance but Mohko moves to the side
and Mohko counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mohko.
Mohko lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Mohko is trying to work for a kimura but Jarvinen is defending well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jarvinen has a hand on Mohko's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Mohko takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Mohko lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Jarvinen hold on?!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mohko is trying to stick to Jarvinen's back but Jarvinen is turning into Mohko. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mohko's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jarvinen.
Jarvinen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Jarvinen looks to land a combination. Mohko sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Jarvinen throws a combination. Mohko tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Mohko is rocked!
Mohko shoots for a double leg takedown but Jarvinen sprawls well. He's pushed Mohko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Oh Mohko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jarvinen throws a right hand that Mohko ducks under and follows up with a left that Mohko also avoids with ease.
Jarvinen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mohko.

Jarvinen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mohko.

Mohko avoids the elbow strike from Jarvinen, against the cage.
Jarvinen has cage pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Mohko is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a bit one sneaks through from Jarvinen - that's hurt Mohko badly! Oh, another knee lands and Mohko is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Mohko doesn't seem to be complaining.
