The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Urajoke. No joy for Afolayan on that attempt. Urajoke shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Afolayan sprawls well. Afolayan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Urajoke gets slowly back to his feet. Afolayan tries to clinch but Urajoke moves out of range. Afolayan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Afolayan is looking to clinch but Urajoke is avoiding it.
Afolayan shoots and misses and Urajoke counters with a nice double leg into side control. Afolayan won't be happy with that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Afolayan is looking for a sweep. Urajoke thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Urajoke has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Afolayan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Urajoke yanks on the arm and Afolayan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Urajoke.
