The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morsen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Morsen throws a right hand that Blackwell ducks under and follows up with a left that Blackwell also avoids with ease.
Morsen is breathing heavily.
Sloppy strikes from Morsen. Those never looked like landing.
Blackwell shoots in and drives through. Morsen sprawls well.
Morsen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blackwell moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Morsen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Morsen misses with an uppercut. Blackwell saw that one coming.

Blackwell drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Blackwell fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Blackwell is trying to get an arm triangle but Morsen is defending well.
Blackwell misses with the ground and pound.
Morsen takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
