The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LIGHTS OUT misses the shot to the body.
Foster shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with LIGHTS OUT but LIGHTS OUT pushes him off and we're back to square one.
LIGHTS OUT throws a series of punches but Foster avoids them all with ease.
LIGHTS OUT rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Foster moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
LIGHTS OUT fails to land with a series of punches.
LIGHTS OUT misses with a jab, cross combination.

LIGHTS OUT seems a little lost for a moment, as Foster dominates the positioning.
Foster postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Foster in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Foster thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Foster is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but LIGHTS OUT is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Foster works to advance to full mount. LIGHTS OUT defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The referee warns LIGHTS OUT that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
LIGHTS OUT is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

LIGHTS OUT tries to hold on but Foster postures up.
Foster in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

LIGHTS OUT throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
BOBBY LIGHTS OUT seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
LIGHTS OUT misses with a hook.
LIGHTS OUT looks to land a combination but Foster avoids it well.
LIGHTS OUT throws a right hand that Foster ducks under and follows up with a left that Foster also avoids with ease.
Foster dodges the punch combination from LIGHTS OUT.
LIGHTS OUT throws a nice looking combination but Foster bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Foster closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Foster lands in his opponent's guard.
Foster stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. LIGHTS OUT swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Foster is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Foster prevents LIGHTS OUT from getting back to his feet.
Foster throwing strikes but missing.
LIGHTS OUT wants to stand and escape but Foster is having none of it.
Foster passes LIGHTS OUT's left leg - he's now in half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
LIGHTS OUT is in trouble now - Foster has advanced to mount!
Foster mounts LIGHTS OUT! Really nice guard pass there!

Foster postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. LIGHTS OUT looks a forlorn figure.

LIGHTS OUT tries to buck Foster off but he can't manage it.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Foster working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. LIGHTS OUT turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Foster off and cradles LIGHTS OUT's limp body as Foster celebrates with his corner.
