Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Seamon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Houk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Chris Seamon has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chris Seamon seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seamon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Houk moves away.

Houk looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Seamon tries to kick Houk off but Houk keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Seamon tries to get to full guard but Houk has control of the leg.
Houk seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Houk is trying to control the action in half guard but Seamon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Houk goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Seamon turns into him and now he's in Houk's guard.

Houk tries to bench press Seamon off him but Seamon keeps the position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chris Seamon.
