Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Speck Trum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nunzio Romano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Speck Trum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nunzio Romano! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trum stuffs the takedown attempt from Romano. Romano gets slowly back to his feet. Romano decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Romano with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Trum on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Trum tries to get out of the position. Trum is trying to maintain the position but Romano is very close to passing his half guard. Trum wants to get back to full guard. Romano is thwarting Trum's attempts to control the position. Trum tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Romano has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Romano trying to control but Trum is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trum wants to hold on but Romano pushes him away. Trum is wriggling around trying to escape.
Romano pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Trum tries to lock up and control but Romano gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Romano controlling from the full mount. Romano trying to control but he's not successful this time. Trum is in all sorts of trouble here.
Trum is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Romano has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Trum's face.
Trum bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Trum controlling from the top position. Romano throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Romano has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Romano lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Trum! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Trum wants to hold on but Romano pushes him away. Trum is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Romano lands a big shot there that rocks Trum but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Romano looking to control but Trum is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Trum is looking to improve his position but Romano isn't that keen on the idea. Trum is breathing heavily. Trum is squirming around, avoiding Romano's attempts to control the action. Trum manages to regain half guard. Good work. Romano is trying to work for a kimura but Trum is defending well.
Trum flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Trum actively working from the bottom here. Trum has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Romano is working away from the top position though. Romano throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Trum is trying to maintain the position but Romano is very close to passing his half guard. Trum is not content to let Romano control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Romano shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Romano was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nunzio Romano dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Trum is looking to clinch but Romano is avoiding it.
Trum tries to close the distance and clinch but Romano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Romano looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Trum misses with a takedown attempt and Romano counters with a nice kick to the body. Trum tries to clinch and Romano moves into the clinch. Romano pulls guard. Trum looking to sit in guard and control but Romano gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Trum doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Romano throwing strikes but missing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Romano decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romano misses with a takedown and Trum counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Romano! Trum trying to control but he's not successful this time. Romano tries to hold on but Trum postures up. Romano is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Trum is staying active. Trum controlling the position easily from mount. Trum tries to control but Romano wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Romano slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Trum sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Romano defending well though. The fighters are battling for position here. Romano manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Trum looking to sit in guard and control but Romano gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Trum looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Trum is trying to control the position but Romano postures up. Trum manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trum trying to control but Romano is having none of it. Trum raining down shots from the mount! Trum scoring with strikes but Romano is staying in there. Trum sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Trum putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Trum fails to advance to Romano's back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. A nice elbow there by Trum. Romano is squirming around, avoiding Trum's attempts to control the action. Trum moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Romano has worked his arm free - good work by Romano!
Trum is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Romano knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Trum trying to control the action but Romano is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Speck Trum will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Trum looks to clinch and Romano counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Trum wants to get back to full guard. Trum blocking the ground and pound attempt from Romano. Romano prevents Trum from improving his position. Romano seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Trum does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Romano lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Trum has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Romano is working away from the top position though.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Trum walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Trum tries to clinch up and Romano counters with a takedown into side control. Trum is trying to improve his position. Romano trying to control the position but Trum is working away. Nunzio Romano has got the better of the ground game so far. Romano stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Romano looks to clinch and Trum counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Romano is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Trum pulls his head out easily. Romano is not content to let Trum control the position. Trum is stalling here. Romano is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Trum seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Romano has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Trum is not content to let Romano control the position. Trum sneaks back into half guard. Trum is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Romano jumps into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Romano in side control, just content to control the action for now. Trum wants to control but Romano postures up. Trum is not content to let Romano control the position. Check out the look on Romano's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Romano working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Trum is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Romano's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Trum is refusing to be controlled, as Romano sits in half guard. Trum is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Romano scores with a couple of nice shots. Trum tries to roll over but Romano keeps him under control. Trum is in trouble now - Romano has advanced to mount! Romano prevents Trum from getting the reversal.
And that's the end of the fight! Nunzio Romano comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Romano has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
