Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Manvel Gamburyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Truman Roosevelt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gamburyan comes to the cage accompanied by Gamburyan vs. Brown on April 24th. Roosevelt has chosen Gravel Pit by Wu Tang Clan as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Roosevelt looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gamburyan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gamburyan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Roosevelt counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Roosevelt tries to clinch there but Gamburyan circles away.
Gamburyan throws a lazy right hand but Roosevelt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Horrible takedown by Gamburyan or perhaps it was just good defense by Roosevelt which made him look bad.

Roosevelt tries to stand but Gamburyan is controlling from the bottom.

Roosevelt has Gamburyan pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Gamburyan is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Roosevelt - that's hurt Gamburyan badly! Oh, another knee lands and Gamburyan is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Gamburyan doesn't seem to be complaining.
