Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack McCullough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lu Kuan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCullough comes into the arena with Bodies by Drowning Pool blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lu Kuan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack McCullough!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lu Kuan!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCullough throws a right and a left that Kuan avoids nicely.
McCullough looks to land a combination but Kuan avoids it well.
Kuan throws a head kick that misses.
Kuan throws a sloppy head kick and McCullough moves out of range easily.
Kuan with a jab.
Kuan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kuan avoids the head kick by McCullough.
McCullough throws a lazy head kick
and Kuan counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
A head kick from Kuan lands but McCullough takes it in his stride.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kuan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kuan lands with a shot to the body.
Kuan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kuan scores with a nice right hand.
Kuan throws a head kick but McCullough moves out of range.
McCullough throws a series of strikes that have Kuan backpedaling.
McCullough blocks a head kick by Kuan.
McCullough tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kuan was well out of range. Poor timing from McCullough.
McCullough throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kuan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kuan connects with a nice looking jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McCullough takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
McCullough uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kuan.
McCullough blocks the body kick.
McCullough pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kuan back to the cage. McCullough follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Lu Kuan has been cut.
Kuan lands with a slapping head kick.

McCullough is rocked!
Jack McCullough seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuan fakes the leg kick and cracks McCullough in the body.
Oh McCullough is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kuan cracks a nice hook into McCullough's ribs.
McCullough is breathing heavily.
McCullough throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kuan.
McCullough seems to have got his legs back now.
A head kick misses from Kuan.
McCullough throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kuan. That's going to slow McCullough down.
Kuan lands a big head kick that sends McCullough to the canvas! Kuan follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lu Kuan!
A very excited looking Lu Kuan made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
