The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Van Winkle gets a double leg takedown into Schnezner's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Schnezner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Van Winkle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Van Winkle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Schnezner has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Van Winkle. Oh but Schnezner has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Van Winkle goes limp - he's gone! Schnezner jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Charlie Schnezner really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that PURE STAMINA and Funds Transfer logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
