Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Flint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lang throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Flint.
Lang stuns Flint with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lang lunges at Flint with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Flint's hand.
Flint drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Flint looking to pass the guard.
Lang wants to stand up but Flint is controlling him.
Flint trying to control the position from guard on top but Lang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Flint prevents Lang from getting back to his feet.
Flint drops back looking for a leg! Lang is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lang manages to kick Flint off! Flint jumps back into Lang's guard.
Lang has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Flint off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

James Lang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Flint shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lang pinned against the cage. Lang gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Flint manages to avoid it.
Lang takes a swing at Flint's ribcage but misses.

Lang is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Lang's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Flint doesn't manage to clinch there - Lang circles away.
Flint lands a lovely overhand right.
Flint fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
James Lang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Flint.

Lang lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Flint is looking to close the distance but Lang sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Flint crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Flint is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
