Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Uzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Per Fekt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uzi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Slayer - Angel of Death . Fekt is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ack Sundbyberg. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fekt misses with a body kick.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Uzi postures up in Fekt's guard and throws a big left but Fekt blocks it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Uzi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Uzi wants to control from the top but Fekt keeps moving.
Fekt utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Fekt is looking to stand up but Uzi isn't so interested in that idea.

Uzi drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Fekt dives on top into guard.

Fekt got a little sloppy there for a moment and Uzi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fekt has managed to get both his arms back between Uzi's legs - danger averted.
Uzi seems keen to control Fekt's posture.

Uzi wants to sweep but no luck.

Fekt gets to his feet - Uzi follows without any prompting.
Fekt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Uzi.
Per Fekt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fekt throws a head kick that Uzi semi-blocks.

It looks like Kurt Uzi has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Uzi checks a leg kick.
Fekt misses with a straight right.
Fekt looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Fekt rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Uzi holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Uzi is looking to take this one to the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fekt is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Fekt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A head kick misses from Fekt.
Fekt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Uzi moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kurt Uzi will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Kurt Uzi's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Uzi darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Fekt is looking to escape.
Uzi winds up and cracks Fekt with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Uzi stops Fekt from getting back to his feet.
Uzi throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Uzi lands with a punch from half guard.

Uzi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Poor strikes thrown by Uzi there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Per Fekt's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
