Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ronny Roist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Benjamin Price!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price wants to clinch up but Roist keeps it at a distance.
Price drives through and clinches with Roist against the cage.
Price lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Roist backwards.
Price wants a takedown but no success here.
Price can't find room to land a body shot as Roist controls the action.
Roist using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Price has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Roist tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Price works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Roist throws a head punch that misses.
Price has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Roist uses from the top position.
Price manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Roist manages to get himself to full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Price passes Roist's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Price is taking a breather. Roist says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Price moves into full mount! Roist won't be happy about that!
The referee warns Roist that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Roist has left one of his arms exposed and Price doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Roist screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
